Kristin is nurtured and inspired by the history of art. Her sculptures express the meeting point between human emotion and meditation. Her background is versatile. Before starting art school, she worked as an actress and as a singer/songwriter. Her music has been released in Norway and also in the U.S.  Although she has had many interests, her highest and most profound passion was always for the Fine Arts. In 2009 she graduated from The Florence Academy of Art. Since then she has participated in their 4th and 5th Alumni Exhibitions, been accepted into the international ARC Salon 2009, Brewer Jacobsen’s Portrait Award and also in ArtKudos international juried art competition & exhibition. In 2010 Kristin will exhibit work with Galleri Harald Kjeldaas, Galleri Ramfjord’s Jubileumsutstilling, Ljungbergmuseet in Sweden and with Stillscape’s Festival of Silence in Esviken. She was recently awarded an Honorable Mention from The Art Renewal Center’s International 2010 Salon and has also been granted a scholarship for the Artist-in-Residency Program at The Vytlacil Campus of The Art Students League of New York.
